What does a Trustee do?

Trustees are elected to four year terms by residents of the township.  Each township has three trustees.  They manage the township budget, minor expenses, fire department, roads, cemeteries and many other needs that may come up.

What is a Fiscal Officer

The Fiscal Officer is an elected position, by the residents of the township to a four year term.  The Fiscal Officer is responsible for paying bills and payroll.  The Fiscal Officer does not make decisions like the Trustees.  All decisions regarding what to spend and where are made by the Trustees.
